It’s much friendlier than IC2-derived mods, since it doesn’t have any of the “minor mistakes make machines blow up” user-hostile tradition that’s pretty common in Minecraft tech mods. I think the similarity comes from the sheer scale of what you end up building, and the assembly-line nature of Minecraft tech mods. Satisfactory certainly reminds me of that in many ways, even though objectively they’re quite different. I’ve played a lot of Gregtech 5 Unofficial, which is about as convoluted as Minecraft tech mods get. In any case, they are very different experiences. finally, resources are infinite and locations are all static so this is a persistent element throughout any playthrough, also adding to the more casual aspects of gameplay. although there are many that ignore some of those aspects and just overload production lines without any consideration for the numbers. the factory building isn't as complex as some of the Industrial/Automation mods for MC but it still offers enough for the necessity to plan out your factory builds.

Here in Satisfactory the focus is more on a casual building environment where you are free to build at your leisure. lastly you are subject to a much more restricted access to resources. i know you know what i'm talking about lol. granted, similar in concept IC2 and BC both offer a more realistic approach to power, production and automation resulting in rather grindy loops. i've plenty of IC2 and BuildCraft experience so i know what you are referring to. :) and missing the mark by quite a lot lol. Satisfactory modern graphics, looks better. Mojo님이 먼저 게시:Minecraft late 80's looking graphics that people went crazy over.
